The proposed site for the vocational training institute is located on the outskirts of Bombay in a small town called Kamshet. While the site is aptly located close to main town area with plenty of youngsters and sparsity of educational institutions in the precinct it is not the only advantage the site has to offer. The most striking aspect of this location is the endless horizon visible from any given spot at site. The project focuses on creating an experience as you enter the site by descending down into a seemingly inconspicuous entrance to a building. This has been done in order to enable to user to capitalize on the view rather than the building itself. All individual buildings have been planned to maximize this view. They have been designed to have interconnecting pathways and bridges from workshops to the classrooms taking advantage of the slope of the slope of the site. The program includes a cafeteria and staff quarters in addition to the four workshop and classroom spaces.
